Geometric Coffee Table

This geometric coffee table was built to be the focal point of the room.

The base is made from solid Wenge, displayed in a radial pattern that pulls your eye straight to the center. Each triangle is cut and shaped by hand, fit to the base with mortise and tenon joinery for a perfect fit. Brass inlays run through the design on top and bottom of each facet to add contrast and catch the light from different angles as you move around it.

The glass top keeps everything visible, so nothing gets hidden. From a distance it reads as a bold, sculptural form. Up close, you start to notice what makes it different - the depth of the Wenge, the way the brass lines break it up, and how precise everything feels when it comes together. The angled lines appear to defy gravity. 

This will no doubt create conversations in your household.
