Price is what a buyer want to pay for it

I had an old table round with classic feet going down in a half circle, fantastic pattern on it, like flower, hard to describe but looked like maybe 100 years old. Got it for basically free at a flee market. like $500. Someone had it from a relative that had passed away. Still mad that I was convinced by my wife to get rid of it in an own flee market sale as she thought it looked to old style for her. Now saying this as that table would have lived forever. Will a table with resin grow old nicely? Something tells me that the resin will not last as long as the wood. price, well I think $12,000 for it was on the upper edge, I had guessed like $4.500 before i clicked on this page. But someone thought it was worth it so I guess it is worth it then.

Reasonable Price!

Dear New Wood Worker in the making,
I doubt you're taking into account all the costs that went into this piece- it's a lot more than just the materials! There are many hidden costs, starting from paying rent or a mortgage on the building he's working in (and the costs of constructing and maintaining it), not to mention heat and electricity and other utilities, percentages of the initial costs of the tools such as the sanders, saws, 3D printer, etc., salaries of any assistants, the years of education to develop the artist's skills, and many others. This is an artist creating a one-of-a kind piece, in an incredibly creative way, and he's allowed to make a profit from it!
I doubt it's anywhere near the amount you think it is.
Hope you don't think you're going to get rich from your new hobby!

:-O

I'm in the wrong business ... $600 for materials (still probably crazy high) and $12,000 price ... Glad I came across the video.. I am going to start making tables for 20x the profit. Great Piece non the less

Almost bought it, decided against it.

I would have bought it if it was $24,000 but at its current price it would have simply felt like a robbery. I am an honest man after all.

Lord have mercy, where do I put this thing?

Would it look better in the bedroom? Perhaps in the main living space as one first enters the home? The kitchen? Dining room? Surely outside on the deck or on a balcony!

However I envision it, it certainly seems to be highly viable as a piece that can entertain any space!
