This table is absolutely amazing. The detail & craftsmanship is far beyond my ability, or my temperament.
I wonder how many labor hours this took. I attempted to price the wood, but living in CA. everything costs more than you might think (We are happy our gas prices are in the low $5 range).
You sold it too cheap. I get that you figured materials + time x X (your experience, equipment, etc.) and you wanted to be fair...but I believe the market would have supported a price several times higher. Consider the price of a mere doodle by Picasso. I'm not sure how fast this table sold at $12k but whatever it was I don't think it would have lasted much longer at $50k. Absolutely stunning!
